Message from Ken Swain...
I am passionate about New Zealand families preparing for their future with Life Insurance. This passion began through my own experiences. My Father died suddenly when he was only 47. He left behind a young widow who then had to provide an education and decent standard of living for six children. On top of this struggle, there was a mortgage to pay. I was just 14 years old at the time and without the benefit of adequate Life Insurance, I remember life wasn’t easy.
Experiencing the impact this tragedy had on my family convinced me that there had to be a better way. This passion inspired my choice of career as a Life Insurance Agent (as we were known in those days). As I reflect on over 40 years in the industry, I am proud to have witnessed the benefits of effective Life Insurance on countless occasions. I am convinced that by being courageous, having a clear plan and the right cover in place makes a difference to the lives of those who are left to cope after the injury, sickness or death of a loved one.
In recent years my own family has again been in this very difficult situation. While you can never replace a human life, you can at least ease the financial burden of losing a loved one unexpectedly.
Life insurance is essentially about taking the initiative. So I encourage you to take the time to plan for a secure future for you and your family… even if you are not there!
